What we collect
When you call or complete the enquiry form, we collect the details you choose to give us. That is usually your name, phone number, email address, suburb or street address, and a description of the roof and the problem. You may also send photographs. We do not ask for payment details, and you should not send them.
Like most websites, this site and the services it relies on may record basic technical information such as your browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the site working and to understand how it is used.
Why we collect it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry and to pass it to an independent local roofing contractor who can inspect the roof and quote. The contractor uses your details to contact you, arrange the inspection and prepare the quote. We may also contact you to check that your enquiry was followed up.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry is shared with the contractor, or contractors, best placed to handle the job. Enquiry forms on this site are hosted by a third-party form and customer-management provider, which stores the information you submit on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as they are needed to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up, and for any period required by law. You may ask us to delete your details at any time, unless we are required to keep them.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask for it to be corrected. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply to us.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, call 08 7100 9699 and we will look into it. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
